I'm in the process of finishing a computer science technical manuscript, however I'm a little confused about which publication to choose. I want to target a respectable publication that might be listed in Scopus, but depending on the journal, I've heard conflicting opinions about how stringent the peer review procedure can be. Some coworkers suggested seeking advice from a Scopus publication service, but I'm not sure if that's trustworthy or moral. Has anyone here used any kind of assistance or gone through this procedure on their own? Which criteria were most important to you while selecting your journal?
